The 2013 Power of the Ocean Event on March 23 will celebrate The Ocean of Hope (O2H)- the exclusive fundraising organization for The Sarcoma Alliance. O2H is comprised of paddlers and ocean enthusiasts who use their training and racing as a means of outreach, support, and hope.
Celebrate with friends and advocates of The Sarcoma Alliance as we come together to raise money and awareness for cancer patients and their families. Enjoy great food and and drinks from Kona Brewing Company while listening to the island stylings of local musician Kapali Long, home early from months of touring just for us.
The night will also feature original photography by South Bay local Ken Pagliaro and the amazing story of world class paddleboarder Jamie Mitchell in the movie Decade of Dominance. We will also be showing a short clip about the Catalina Classic by Chris Aguilar and Fin Film Company. The night promises to inspire everyone through The Power of the Ocean. Come join us!
